The case for CG Mouthpiece Italy mouthpieces is completely handmade of top quality soft leather. Thus, its manufacturing is authentically artisanal, in accordance with the best Italian leather processing traditions. It has no metal parts, such as buttons or clips, so that it can be put in the saxophone bell without damaging it and leaving enough space for inserting the chiver, in case of need. GALILEO, una vera e propria scultura estratta dal puro ottone, totalmente priva di saldature L'ancia è libera di vibrare in tutta la lunghezza delle fibre della cui disposizione GALILEO tiene conto: nasce infatti da una barra di ottone speciale, selezionato dalla CG Mouthpiece per le sue caratteristiche acustiche eccezionali, e lavorato seguendo le venature del metallo. Metodo che la CG Mouthpiece Italy adotta anche per la lavorazione delle sue pregiate imboccature. Le sue geometrie sono accuratamente studiate per rispondere in modo omogeneo alle vibrazioni dell'ancia e conseguentemente dell'imboccatura. Permette una pressione calibrata della placchetta sull'ancia, pressione che è regolata da una solida vite, sempre in ottone massiccio. La robusta vite è fissata alla placchetta a pressione, senza l'ausilio di viti. La placchetta, anch'essa ricavata da un pezzo pieno di ottone, è snodabile per potersi adattare al non sempre simmetrico disegno del dorso dell'ancia, permettendo così un saldo appoggio dei suoi binari anch'essi disposti nel senso della fibra lignea. Quest'ultimi sono raggiati per potersi adattare alla curvatura dell'ancia e per non lasciare segni su di essa. La misura II in ottone è disponibile in due finiture. Entrambe offrono la tipica omogeneità timbrica delle legature Galileo anche se ognuna possiede una propria peculiarità:
